Professor Gboyega Ogunbanjo is the Interim Director: Research, University of Limpopo (Medunsa Campus), South Africa and a specialist family physician with special interests in evidence-based medicine, epidemiology and communicable diseases. He has 118 publications in both local and international peer-reviewed medical journals and has presented at numerous national and international conferences. He holds fellowships from the College of the Family Physicians of South Africa - FCFP (SA), Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine - FACRRM, Australasian College of Tropical Medicine - FACTM, and South African Academy of Family Practice - FAFP(SA). He is the associate editor of the SA Family Practice journal and editor of the Transactions journal of the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa.
